Welcome to Lokats. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lokats mobile application and website (collectively, the "App"), operated by Lokats Technologies ("Company", "we", "our", or "us").
By using Lokats, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 or 17 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
2. User Accounts
User Content
User Content. "User Content" means any and all information and content that a user submits to the Site. You are exclusively responsible for your User Content. You bear all risks associated with use of your User Content. You hereby certify that your User Content does not violate our Acceptable Use Policy. You may not represent or imply to others that your User Content is in any way provided, sponsored or endorsed by Company. Because you alone are responsible for your User Content, you may expose yourself to liability. Company is not obliged to backup any User Content that you post; also, your User Content may be deleted at any time without prior notice to you. You are solely responsible for making your own backup copies of your User Content if you desire.
You hereby grant to Company an irreversible, nonexclusive, royalty-free and fully paid, worldwide license to reproduce, distribute, publicly display and perform, prepare derivative works of, incorporate into other works, and otherwise use and exploit your User Content, and to grant sublicenses of the foregoing rights, solely for the purposes of including your User Content in the Site. You hereby irreversibly waive any claims and assertions of moral rights or attribution with respect to your User Content.
If you see objectionable content that our systems have missed, you are required to report it using the in-app reporting tools immediately. We are committed to acting on these reports within 24 hours.
3.6 Blocking Abusive Users. The app provides tools that allow you to block other users who are engaging in abusive behavior towards you. Upon blocking a user, they will no longer be able to contact you or view your content.
3.7 Our Rights. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, screen, edit, refuse, or remove any User Content at our sole discretion. We may permanently terminate or suspend your account for violating these terms.

1. Choose a Service: Select a third-party moderation API. For a new app, a good starting point is often the Google Perspective API (which is very effective for text-based toxicity) or Hive Moderation (which is excellent for image and video analysis). Both have free tiers or affordable pricing for startups.
2. Integrate on Your Backend: When a user attempts to post content, your app should send the text (or a link to the image) to your server.
3. Call the Moderation API: Your server then sends this content to the chosen moderation API (e.g., Google Perspective) for analysis.
4. Handle the Response:
· If the API returns a high "toxicity" or probability that the content is violating, your server should reject the post and send an error message back to the app (e.g., "Your post could not be published because it may contain inappropriate content.").
· You can also set it to hold the post for manual review in your admin dashboard instead of outright rejecting it, especially if the score is a borderline case.
· If the content passes the filter, your server saves it to your database and makes it visible to others.

5. Intellectual Property
All content on the App, excluding User Content, is owned or licensed by the Company and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, for any reason, without notice.
7. Privacy
Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and share your data.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the App.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the App.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Country or State], without regard to conflict of law principles.
