REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL BROODING:

1) Temperature Control: Maintaining appropriate temperature is crucial for the health and growth of Chicks. The temperature should be gradually decreased as the Chicks grow older. Generally, the temperature should be around 95 degree Fahrenheit (35 degree centigrade) for the first week and then reduce by about 5 degree Fahrenheit (3 degree centigrade) per week until reaching the ambient temperature.

You can also apply the OBSERVATION method by checking the Chicks at all time to know if the temperature is much or not.If the temperature (heat) is much, you can reduce it by opening a side of the window to escape heat. But if the temperature (heat) is not sufficient, you can increase the temperature by closing up all the windows and doors to accumulate an adequate heat for the Chicks. Ensure that the source of heat is properly positioned in the brooding Unit.
